The paparazzi caught up with Hayden Panettiere yesterday at Orso restaurant, grabbing a bite to eat with some friends.  And while that may seem a bit on the boring side, the “Heroes” star says she’d rather be safe than sorry.

In a recent interview, Panettiere told press that she chooses to behave herself, and avoids the pitfalls of fame like the plague.  She says she doesn’t want to be just another young star with a party problem.

Rather than throwing a big bash in honor of the special occasion, Jay-Z opted to spend his birthday on an intimate outing in Paris with longtime girlfriend, Beyoncé Knowles.

Turning 38-years-old on Tuesday, the hip-hop mogul is said to have “headed to Paris and checked quietly into the Hotel Meurice on Monday.” Meanwhile, “Beyoncé arrived the next day, jetting in following Sunday’s performance at Movies Rock.”

“Spiceworld” hit San Jose, California last night, and the Hewlett Packard Pavilion was rocking the night away.

In the first US show of their reunion tour, Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, Emma “Baby Spice” Burton, Melanie “Sporty Spice” Chisholm and Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell took the stage like the seasoned veterans that they are.  And they put on what many are calling the concert of the year.
